Get Involved!

There are a number of different ways that you can make a difference. Whether you're looking to volunteer with us, make a donation or even just keep an eye on our upcoming events, we really appreciate any and all support that you are willing to give.

Community Activities

We regularly organise community activities where locals and our refugees get together to make a difference to the area.
Make sure to sign up to be alerted to future community events!

Some of our previous community activities include...

Tree Planting

Refugees and Help4Refugees volunteers planting trees

In partnership with Asylum Link Merseyside, we have made several trips to the wilderness to plant trees coordinated by Treesponsibility. The weather hasn't been kind to us so far but we have managed to help plant over 600 trees so far. A sterling effort by volunteers and our clients.

Beach Clean

Refugees and Help4Refugees volunteers cleaning a local beach

We have worked alongside ALM and the Marine Conservation Society to clean Hoylake Beach. This involved not just collecting rubbish but recording what we found.

Christmas Wrapping

We supported a local charity Gautby Road Play, Youth and Community Centre in their Christmas toy appeal. The toys were collected by RK Fitness in Hoylake and we wrapped over 300 toys.

Exploring the Local Area

We organise days out to explore the local area and point out areas of interest. If you have an idea of somewhere to explore please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.

Volunteer

We're committed to helping refugees retake control of their lives and starting to rebuild, but we can't do it alone. We've already been so fortunate to have a solid core of kind, hard-working volunteers, and we've seen firsthand how each extra heart makes a real difference!
